Meets

The St. Croix Railroad holds two railroad community meets each year.

The Spring meet is held on Memorial Day weekend Thursday through Sunday with the Sunday normally being the public run day for May; the Fall meet on the last full weekend of September, again Thursday through Sunday culminating in the last Public run day of the year.

In 2017 there will be a two week work camp from late June through Early July; there is no associated "public run day" in this time. The goal is to put in a concerted work session to progress some of our projects - see the flyer for details

Other than the last day these meets are not "general public ride" days - indeed, it is entirely likely that none of the trains running will be offering rides. Rather these meets are an opportunity for visitors with equipment to come and run on the SCRR tracks and share in the Model Engineering hobby.

There is a registration fee to attend the meet, details are published in the flyer for the meet in question. There also is typically food available to purchase on the meet days at the railroad cook shack. There are modern restroom facilities on the grounds.

You are encouraged to bring a locomotive, cars and or stationary engine to run or display at the meet. For more information on meets send an email to meet @ stcroixrr.org.
